The Coatesville Area School District is seeking a Special Education Supervisor. 

 

The successful candidate will have global responsibilities supervising a variety of special education programs servicing students. Ability to develop special education programs and interventions that meet diverse students’ needs.

 

Qualifications:

• PA Supervisor of Special Education certification preferred, principal certification considered.
• Minimum 4 years special education supervisory experience required. Supervisory experience working in an urban setting preferred.
• A proven track record of student achievement for students deemed at-risk and/or receiving special education services
• Strong administrative background that reflects effective leadership, management and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong analytical writing skills
• Excels in individual and collaborative problem solving
• Has a relentless desire to provide only the highest quality education for all students
• Prior experience developing innovative programs to meet diverse student needs preferred
• Expert knowledge of IDEIA and Pennsylvania special education regulations

 

 

External Candidates must upload required clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year of application date. Candidates not providing updated clearances will not be considered for employment.
