LTS Reading Specialist for Rainbow Elementary School.

The Coatesville Area School District is seeking an energetic, student-centered LTS Reading Specialist.  The successful candidate will have a solid working knowledge of balanced literacy, Project Read, Words their Way, and Restorative Practices.  Applicants should also have a demonstrated capacity of teaching diverse learners.  Applicants should be committed to the success of all students and should have an understanding of special education legislation, regulations and procedures.  The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet all students’ learning needs in order to ensure academic growth. 

Qualifications: PA K-12 Reading Specialist certification required.  Dual certification preferred.  

This position is for the entire 2021-2022 school year.

External Candidates will be required to provide clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year.
