1 position for Scott and North

Stipend:  $2,704.00 per school year

Successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the staff and programs within the Math Department for North and Scott Middle Schools, as well as meeting with Administration regarding staff development, departmental concerns, budgeting, and overall programming.  The candidate must be able to follow best practices in assessment, instruction as well as facilitate team processes.  Candidate should have a solid understanding of instruction and assessments, good communication skills, able to meet deadlines, work well with students and adults.  Candidate should have a working knowledge of the secondary science curriculum and be able to effectively interact with diverse populations.  

Qualifications

• Current Teacher
• Valid PA Instructional I or II Secondary Science  Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, patient, and encouraging approach when working with students.
• Desire to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, families, and students.
