Secondary Special Education Teachers, Grades 6-12.

The Coatesville Area School District is seeking an energetic, student-centered Secondary Special Education Teachers starting the 2024-2025 school year. These positions could include the following areas: Learning Support, Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Life Skills, and Verbal Behavior. Applicants should have a demonstrated capacity of teaching diverse learners.  Applicants should be committed to the success of all students and should have an understanding of special education legislation, regulations and procedures.  The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet all students’ learning needs in order to ensure academic growth.   

Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree required.

Valid PA Special Education PK-8 or Special Education PK-12 required.

External Candidates will be required to provide mandatory clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year.
